YNA Young Nudist Gathering Was a Blast!

We had had a fantastic YNA gathering mid-July, and this past weekend we returned to Rock Lodge again for the August version!  About 90 people attended this gathering.  It began Friday evening with thunderstorms, but this didn’t seem to deter anyone.  They just danced in the rain.  So we ordered pizza, mingled and kicked off the night with good energy that would last the whole weekend. 

Saturday we woke up to sunshine and promise of a beautiful day.  Beth Nolan did outdoor morning yoga on the court secluded by trees.  After lunch, artist Andy Golub came to share his infamous body painting in a natural setting. The session turned into a black and white human art installation on the lawn!  Check out the photos and video of the artwork singing below.

BBQ dinner followed as night settled in.  Then we grabbed glow sticks, s’more supplies and prepared to head to the woods for a bonfire.  The fire brought out the wild nudies as we howled, chanted, drummed, and swirled the poi.  We also initiated the newbies with names delivered from the nudie gods, including Falling Bear, Man with Light On Head, White Dove, and Running Fox. 

On Sunday morning we enjoyed a pancake breakfast and an encore of yoga with Beth.  Then Isis Phoenix, Reverend Goddess Charmaine and Reverend Kennedy came for a special Holy Body Worship (aka “Naked Church“) in the forest.  At 3 o’ clock we gathered together with Rock Lodge members for a tasty “coffee klatch” of coffee, desserts and snacks generously organized by a few members.

We want to say once again we had such a great time with all who attended and thanks to everyone for coming!  It was such an amazing weekend of good vibes and good people. Thank you, Rock Lodge Club, for welcoming and hosting us and making this whole event possible.
