As Young Naturists America we will once again meet at Rock Lodge Nudist Club this summer for TWO weekend-long gatherings! Woah baby! July 14-15th and August 18-19th, 2012.

Friday night to Sunday, join us for swimming in the refreshing lake, volleyball, bonfires, body painting, yoga, tennis, and so much more fun in the sun!  If you’ve never been, Rock Lodge is a beautiful, rustic nudist club with a spring-fed lake, surrounded by over 100 acres of green forest.  The 3rd Young Naturists gathering at Rock Lodge was a blast, and we hope to see everyone again, plus new friends for the 4th one in August!  See the schedule below to see the plan of activities.  We will likely be adding to this schedule, so check back for updates!

How To Get There:  Rock Lodge is located 45 miles from NYC.  Transportation options: Car, ride sharing, or bus.  We recommend driving, renting a zip car or sharing rides.  See driving directions on the RL website.  We will be coordinating carpooling through the online registration (coming soon), so please indicate in registering if you can give a ride or need a ride.

To go by bus: Take the 194 bus from Port Authority to Stockholm (Express bus, weekdays only) or to Newfoundland (Sat or Sun).  Stockholm bus stop is a 5 minute drive to RL, and Newfoundland is 10 minutes away.  A one-way bus ticket costs $11 – $12.  Then arrange for a cab or a friend to pick you up.  Anytime Taxi, $30 per ride, seems to be cheapest option.  

Overnight Accomodations:  Camping and cabin / room rentals.  Camping is allowed unofficially at Rock Lodge during YNA weekends and is included in the ground fees.  Contact RL for rentals: info[at]rocklodge.com.  If/when regular rentals are booked, there is room share available in a house on the grounds for $20/night.  Contact us to reserve this at : youngnaturists[at]gmail.com. 

What to Bring:  Valid ID is a must, plus the appropriate entry fee for RL (see below, cash preferred).  *Also recommended*: towel, flip-flops, sunscreen, flashlight, bug spray, drums, musical instruments, some food, sweats for nighttime.

Rock Lodge is very welcoming towards young adults and YNA, so there are special discounted rates for our gathering weekends only! 
Please Note: There will be a non-refundable $10 registration fee per person to be paid online (after the registration opens).  Weekend and day fees are to be paid to Rock Lodge directly at the office.  All rates below include camping at no extra charge.

Young Adults Age 34 and Under

-Weekend rate (Fri night to Sunday) : single $20 / couple $40

-Day rate (Sat or Sun) : single $15 / couple $20

Young Adults Age 35 and Up

-Weekend rate (Fri night to Sunday) : single $35 / couple $70

-Day rate (Sat or Sun) : single $30 / couple $40

Friday

- The main activities will begin Saturday, but all are welcome to arrive Friday evening at 5pm or later.  We will have a pizza dinner (not included in the meals) and possibly a bonfire depending on the group! 

Saturday

-9am-10am Breakfast (volleyball court)

-10am-11am Free time to swim, relax, run, & enjoy the sun!

-11am-12pm Outdoor Yoga with Beth Nolan 

-1pm-2pm Lunch (volleyball court)

-2pm Zumba Class with Jacquelyn Powell

-3pm Volleyball Game

-3pm New! Body painting with artist Andy Golub

-4pm Body Painting + Other Games (TBA)

-6pm BBQ / Potluck dinner (volleyball court)

-9pm Karaoke

-11pm Bonfire (at the moss pit)

Sunday

-9am-10am Breakfast

-10:30am Morning Hike (Tentative)

-12pm Lunch on your own

-12pm-2pm Holy Body Worship with Isis Phoenix and Reverend Goddess Charmaine.  Holy Body Worship is a clothing-optional interfaith spiritual service, also called “Naked Church.”  It is normally held in Manhattan, but this time they are coming to us at Rock Lodge!  To learn more about Isis, check out this guest blog she wrote for us about Naked Church.

Meals

YNA will have communal meals on Saturday and Sunday, which will be available for purchase in the online registration. Meals must be purchased in advance.  The other option is to bring in your own food.  Rock Lodge doesn’t have a restaurant/snackbar on the premises, but has a full communal kitchen, fridge, freezer, and grills for anyone to use.

Saturday

Breakfast ($5) – Incl scrambled eggs, cheese, toast, bagels, cream cheese, butter, juice, coffee

Lunch ($5) – Incl chili (meat & vegetarian), tortillas, chips, salad, iced tea, lemonade

Dinner – BBQ Potluck – $10 or Free if you bring a dish to share! – hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chips, salad

Sunday

Breakfast ($5) – Incl pancakes, syrup, whipped cream, compote (fruit topping), breakfast casserole, juice, coffee
